I don't really know if I should go deep into this, because that's not what this blog is really about. This isn't the main focus of this blog, but I have to say this....
Everything that's going on in the media, and in the world, when it comes to Interracial Relationships/Marriages-I have noticed that there is a lot of racist and sexist portrayals towards women, who are with Asian men, especially towards black women, who are with Asian men. I can't say how I would/or could be able to answer someone, if they were to approach me with that kind of question. I honestly would not know what to do with fools like this. You know, fools who harbor prejudice, racist and sexist thoughts about Asians, or about any group of people. It seems to me that this subject, "Interracial Relationship/Marriage" is still a "big, terrible and sensitive" issue to some people! I've put posts on here a couple times about issues that were similar to this before.
Let's just say I were to get an email like this, or have someone approach me in person, and they were to make a comment like this:
"Oh my Goooooood! You must be the biggest (by far) dumbest African American mongrel girl ever! You are a fucking yellow skin, chink eye lover. Can't believe this! You can just go on ahead, and have your ugly ass half-breed babies! You're a disgrace to the Black community!! Shame on you!!!"
I honestly would not know how to respond to that. I wouldn't know how to react to someone (especially if its someone of my own race) approaching me in this way, with this attitude. This is a very horrible, terrible and very disgusting attitude to have. Its very racist, but unfortunately, a lot of people do have this mindset, when it comes to Interracial Relationships/Marriages.
Its ashame that a lot of people are still limited in their minds and brains as to how/what to think. People really need to start thinking for themselves, instead of listening to what their parents/family/friends/society, etc. are telling them.
There are people, who act like we're living in the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's, when it comes to this. People in the past have faught for their rights here in the United States, which included having the right to marry whoever we want to marry. People have the right to marry interracially, if that's what they want to do. But for some reason, people are so limited. Why?
I never had any racists of any kind approach me with this, or email me about this. But if I did, I would not allow it to scare me off from what I like, and who I am. People can't help who they're attracted to, and I loove me some Asian men. I'm not going to give up my attraction to them just because some people have an issue with it. I'm going to keep liking what I like, and that's going to be it.
And today with the internet, it makes it easier for people to hide behind their computers and screens, while yelling out racist, sexist and prejudice things to other people online. I don't think anyone would be bold enough to openly confront me, or anyone else about our preferences in person. These are crazy things to see to people for the fact that its racist and sexist, and they know it. So of course a lot of these people won't come out public with it.
And like I said earlier, I am not ashamed of who I am and what I like. I love Asian men, and so do a lot of other women! We're not afraid to admit our preference for Asian men!! I don't know about the rest of you, but this black girl is not afraid to admit her preference to anyone. Atleast not to those who ask about it that is! End of this discussion!!
I consider this to be a public announcement: To the people, who harbor racist thoughts. Your comments and emails don't effect me at all. You can say anything you want about me, and about Asian men. That doesn't make it true, and its NOT TRUE!!! I'm just putting it out there, because it needs to be said....
SHAME ON ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR RACIST THOUGHTS!!!
